Venkat Natyalaya, our dance academy, promotes the quintessence of classical dance, its sheer beauty and power of our eternal culture along with its ability to invoke divinity and peace. We give prominence to such aesthetic indulgence to stimulate the concentration and creativity in children. Tutored by experienced and passionate gurus, we inculcate discipline, patience, self-belief and self-confidence in our children which are mirrored in their academic performances.
Encouraging students to create from their heart, Kalalaya is an arena where our young artists discover the keys to unlock profound human understanding and accomplishments within self. They are encouraged to creatively express their constructed ideologies in areas of classical dance, carnatic music, instrumental music and visual arts, spearheading evolutions.
Sri Venkateswara Sports Academy works with the motto “Catch them Young”. Acclaimed and qualified trainers of international standards provide coaching in Hockey, Table Tennis, Volleyball, Throw Ball, athletics, Chess and Football. Former county & Ranji players train the young cricketers at our school nets. We have produced national players in Athletics, Karate and Chess, both at the Junior and Senior categories.
Uniformed services plays a key role in transforming an individual’s attitude and self-discipline. At SVGS, uniformed services are offered as after-school programs that nourishes the leadership qualities of our young minds.
Bunnies: KG also dons the uniform of Bunnies with the motto “Keep Smiling”. The main purpose is to help the child learn together, learn to be creative in their activities and also develop a love for nature. Camps and rallies have been held to make the little leaders become more confident and strong.
Cubs Bulbuls is the first lap in the journey towards Scouts & Guides. Aimed at character building, it instills self-discipline and thoughtfulness at a tender age. Aiding in their physical and mental growth, it helps children to be independent and live life in a disciplined manner. Children have most enthusiastically participated in periodical camps and rallies.
Bharat Scouts & Guides has its Ponneri District HQ at our SVNP campus. We proudly boast of Rashtrapathi and Rajyapuraskar (Governor) awardees in our Group of schools. Our team of Scouts & Guides took part in the National Integration Camp held at Bathinda, Punjab and our contingent bagged the 2 nd prize in the “Peace March” held there.
Road Safety Patrol ensures an accident-free life. RSP cadets are the medium through which road safety education is disseminated to the society. Our RSP cadets have several accolades to their credit. Rally on helmet awareness, campaigning alongside the Traffic Warden Wing of Chennai City Police, acknowledgement from Commissioner of Police are few of our prized moments.
Our cherished moments of pride happen every year when our RSP cadets march in the Republic Day Parade at Marina Grounds. For the past 6 years, around 60 of our RSP cadets have taken part in the parade along with our Band troop.
