Dr. Maria Montessori Day

Celebrating the philosophical and pioneering educationist of all times, Maria Montessori, SVV’s Chaitanya Block came alive with the chirping of our Kindergarteners excited with the hands-on learning experiences in scientific pedagogy. With an innate interest in learning by doing, the little ones exhibited various activities involving apparatus that were tailor-made to suit their learning. HM Mrs. Susan Philip steered her team of KG teachers under the captaincy of ACO Mrs. Harini into an exciting venture that helped children connect back to schooling. The event was virtually witnessed by all including our Founder Principal Dr. Smt. UmaKannan, Principal Mrs. Ieline S Theophilius and VP Mrs. Preetha who appreciated the efforts of our educators in connecting to children during this pandemic learning-break. Parents who witnessed the event, appreciated the presentations made by children and gained an insight into the modus operandi of the Kindergarten compartment.
