Sri Venkateswara Junior School, Chennai, celebrated Pongal on January 10th 2025 with great zeal and enthusiasm. The event was a vibrant showcase of our rich cultural heritage.
The celebration commenced with a welcome address presented by the students, setting the tone for the event. The audience was then mesmerized by mesmerizing music performances, including a special Pattimandram show, and a thought-provoking Tamil debate on the topic “Vazhkkaiyin munnetrathirku kaaranam arivaa anubavamaa?”
Meanwhile, parents had a fantastic time participating in exciting games and activities, such as pot painting, lucky corner, garland making, and rangoli . The students showcased their talents through different cultural programs, including dance and music shows.
The winners of the games were awarded prizes, and their beaming smiles said it all! We’re proud of our students and parents for their active participation in the Pongal celebration.
