Vinayagar Chaturthi a joyous celebration in school that honours the revered Lord Ganesha, the embodiment of wisdom. The day began with singing devotional songs and offering prayers to Lord Ganapathy , to whom we seek blessings before the beginning of a new venture. Students of pre primary played a skit on the story of Lord Ganesha getting the ‘Fruit of Knowledge’. A cultural event is complete when a treat is given to eyes and ears.
Primary students performed dance on the legacy of worship of this elephant head god ,who is kind and generous to his devotees and protect them from evil. Vice Principal, Mrs M.Vijayalakshmi, enlightened the audience of how this festival is celebrated across the nation and abroad.
Let us embrace the spirit of Vinayagar Chaturthi, filling our lives with love, harmony and the guidance of our revered Lord Ganesha.
