Founders’ Day & Annual Day

Sri Venkateswara Group of Schools celebrated its Founders’ Day and Annual Day – G20 PANGEA on 28th of November 2023. This immaculate event had around 350 participants, 3000 audience and an online live viewership of around 8000. Puzhal, in Chennai, resonated with the sound of the cultural and musical ensemble of the G20 nations. The ensemble was held on a massive stage at Sri Venkateswara Public Sr. Sec. School (CBSE) Puzhal.
Our chief guests, popular personalities who graced the occasion enthralled the audience with their presence and words. Mr. Steven Thomson, a conductor, educator, vocalist, keyboardist based in Santa Barbara, California said he was delighted to train Indian students and be a part of an event of this kind. He played on the piano and sang a Tamil song to give a savour to the audience. Krish an Indian actor and singer famous for his song Manjal Veyyil from Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu and more, sang his best piece griping the audience in its soothing melody. He nailed the thought in every student’s mind – ‘Not to Fear Failure’. Sudhakar Gande an Investment Banker and Technopreneur, touched on the essence of G20, it’s fight against poverty and global issues. His advice to the parents in the audience was – ‘Not to force their kids to do what they wanted to’. To students he said, ‘Think big, plan big, go all out’.
The SVGS school management – Founder Principal, Correspondent, CEO and the Members of the Managing Trustees didn’t leave any stone unturned to make this event a grand success.
