Inaugural of Buddha Vihar

The auspicious day of this year’s Vinayagar Chaturthi which fell on the 10th of September marked the beginning of yet another remarkably beautiful piece of Sri Venkateswara Vidhyalaya’s edifying structure . The ‘ Buddha Vihar’ , the new three-storied block , connecting the already existing Chanakya Vihar and Chaitanya Vihar of Sri Venkateswara Vidhyalaya was inaugurated by Shri. Alagarsami Kannan, the correspondent of Sri Venkateswara Group of Schools and Smt.Uma Kannan, the Founder Principal of Sri Venkateswara Group of Schools .The inaugural function started with the most sacred beginning ,the ‘Go Pooja’ at the ground floor and proceeded with the ‘Ganapathi Homam’ at the stunning meditation hall built in the shape of an octagonal prism atop the Buddha Vihar.The Buddha Vihar also consists of the newly constructed elevator system to reach the different layers of the entire school. The teaching and non-teaching staff of the entire SVGS family attended the inaugural function.
