Theme: “Krishna’s Wisdom for Viksit Bharat – From Dharma to Development”
Sri Venkateswara Public Senior Secondary School, Puzhal, celebrated the 79th Independence Day of our nation with pride and patriotic fervor on 15th August 2025 at the Jadayu Dias. The program began with the soulful rendering of Tamil Thai Vazhthu by the school choir, followed by the flag hoisting ceremony by our Chief guest respected Principal- SVV, Smt. Preetha Abraham .The school choir then led the gathering in singing the National Anthem and the Flag Song, creating an atmosphere of unity and devotion.
A primary student extended a warm welcome to all, setting the tone for the day. The Pre-Primary students showcased their spirit of unity in diversity through Bharat Ek Khoj, while the school choir energized the audience with Vandematram.
A thematic skit, From Dwapara Yuga to Digital India, performed by the Primary students, creatively highlighted India’s journey of values and development. The Grade VI students presented an energetic mass drill that displayed discipline, coordination, and enthusiasm.
Our Correspondent Sir’s wisdom has always guided us to blend tradition with modernity. His vision emphasizes nurturing responsible citizens who grow with knowledge, ethics, and compassion, reflecting the true spirit of an enlightened Bharat.
Our Chief guest and Principal, Smt. Preetha Abraham, inspired the gathering with her address, Lighting the Path – Values to Vision, emphasizing the role of values in shaping a progressive nation.
The program concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks by a Primary student, leaving everyone with a sense of pride, responsibility, and commitment towards the nation.
The celebration was a perfect blend of tradition, patriotism, and inspiration, reminding us all of our duty to contribute to a Viksit Bharat.
