Sri Venkateswara Junior School proudly celebrated Independence Day 2025 with the theme “Honouring Freedom, Inspiring the Future.” The day began with a Guard of Honour by the school band, followed by the soulful rendition of Thamizh Thai Vazhthu by the choir. The welcome address was delivered by Nivishna of Grade 5, setting the tone for the occasion. Our Chief Guest, Mrs. Jessi Sarathy, Principal of Sri Venkateswara Matriculation Higher Secondary School, hoisted the National Flag, filling the atmosphere with pride and patriotism.
Students from KG to Grade 5 presented a vibrant cultural programme under Heritage of Freedom, including patriotic songs, dances, and a special Leaders’ Walk by the kindergarten children. Performances like Freedom Melody, Pride of the Nation, and Patriotic Beats reflected the spirit of unity and sacrifice. The Chief Guest’s address inspired young minds to uphold the nation’s values. The celebration concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Saahas of Grade 5.
