With pride and patriotism, SRI VENKATESWARA PUBLIC SR. SEC. SCHOOL (CBSE) PUZHAL observed the 78th Independence Day, a celebration of the bravery, unity, and determination that have always defined our nation and its people.
Our chief guest Mr.Saravana Kumar, an IITian now working with E4U team was given a guard of honour by the school band of SVPS.
In the spirit of unity and joy, Tamil Thai Vazhthu was sung by our School Choir. Our principal Mrs. Deepa , delivered the welcome address. This was followed by the ceremonial flag hoisting. With the flag proudly waving high, carrying the spirit of patriotism and unity in our hearts, our celebration continued. The morning witnessed a spectacular display of discipline, coordination, and energy!
The drill incorporated not just teamwork, rhythm, and enthusiasm but also ethics and values to be inculcated from childhood. It was a very thoughtfully made drill steps to depict great value; every gesture had a message to give. Patriotic Songs took us on a musical journey, honoring our country’s glory, freedom, and values with the pride of being born in this country. The song sung in Sanskrit – world’s oldest language brought unmatched melody.
The principal felicitated our guest of honour which was followed by a wonderful message delivered by him – Goals vary with time and we need to keep pace with it by effective use of time. To culminate the event the Vote of Thanks, was delivered by our Vice-principal Ms. Sumeetha Sunil.
Echoes of our national anthem and the sight of our flag flying forever resonate in our hearts, guiding us towards a united and prosperous Viksit Bharat.
