Annual Sports Meet – Deportes Dia

                  Sri Venkateswara Vidhyalaya CBSE Ayyapakkam had its ANNUAL SPORTS MEET in the school premises on 29th October 2022. The Sports Meet was inaugurated by the Correspondent Mr.Alagarsamy Kannan and the Founder Principal Dr.Smt. Uma Kannan. Mr.Jayashankar Menon (Asian All star Basketball player), Mr.Kumaran Thangarajan (Actor, Dancer & Environmentalist), Mr.Katragadda Prasad (Film Producer & President of South Indian Film Chamber),Mr. Prem Kallat (Film Producer & MD of Evergreen Carriers)and Mr.Trikanth Chalasani (Management Trustee) were the Luminaries of the day accompanied by the Principal Dr.S.Joannal Sweetlily. The event saw the participation of children from Grades 1 to 5 and included various athletic events, formations, mass drill ,yoga, aerobics and karate display. The enthusiasm of students spilled over to the participants’ parents.The Chief guests of the day emphasised on the need for sports as a critical part of the curriculum and for the all-round development of students. The Sports day synced with the theme ‘Good health and well being’.
