Edu Run Marathon

Sri Venkateswara Nursery and Primary School undertook a ‘first of its kind’ project, ‘Edu Run’ , a Marathon to proclaim the need of drifting the attention of the society towards the students who drop out from school post COVID era. The impactful slogan ‘ No child left behind ‘ was the motto of the Marathon. A huge number of parents and social activists participated in the Marathon , which was flagged off by Sri. Joseph Samuel, MLA of Ambattur Constituency. Sri. B. K Murthy, Chairman, 7th Zone of Chennai Corporation and Sri . Kamal M .C. , 86th ward , Chennai Corporation took part in the Marathon to feed their support to the cause of the Marathon. The participants started the 2km Marathon at St.Antony ‘s Church and finished it at the Ambedkar Statue . The Founder Principal of SVGS gave a roaring speech at the end of the Marathon which will reverberate in the air, calling the students for a break free education.
