Sri Venkateswara Group of Schools, an epitome of excellence in holistic education, resonated with splendour and pride as it celebrated Founders Day under the inspiring theme — “Celebrating Cultural Roots with Global Reach.” This grand commemoration stood as a heartfelt tribute to the visionary founders whose ideals continue to illuminate the path of knowledge, innovation, and values for every learner who walks through the institution’s gates.
As part of the Founder’s Day festivities, a spectrum of inter-school competitions titled “Spark and Challenge” was organised to ignite creativity and intellectual vibrancy among the students. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from various branches of the Sri Venkateswara Group, showcasing a seamless blend of talent, intellect, and cultural finesse.
Students engaged in an impressive array of competitions including Model United Nations (MUN), Debate, Extempore, Limerick Writing, Photography, Dance, and Music, among many others. Each event was meticulously curated to nurture cognitive dexterity, scientific temperament, aesthetic appreciation, and articulate expression — the very essence of a well-rounded education.
The Spark and Challenge arena became a dynamic platform where young minds explored, expressed, and excelled beyond conventional boundaries. The corridors echoed with spirited discussions, melodious symphonies, rhythmic movements, and flashes of creativity — each reflecting the unwavering commitment to fostering innovation rooted in cultural ethos.
The grand Valedictory Ceremony, held on 8th October, marked a resplendent culmination of the celebrations. The event was graced by distinguished dignitaries — Mr. Kanappan, Director of School Education, Mr. Arasakumar, the Honourable Secretary, Mr. Nandakumar, and Mr. Durai Veeramani, the Ex- panchayat president— whose presence added prestige and gravitas to the occasion. Their inspiring words illuminated the gathering, reaffirming the mission to nurture leaders of vision and virtue.
Adding a heartwarming dimension to the ceremony, alumni of the institution returned as esteemed juries, lending their expertise in evaluating and mentoring the participants. Their active involvement in the judging process symbolised the unbroken bond between past and present — a testament to the school’s enduring legacy and its impact across generations.
The day concluded with a profound sense of pride and fulfilment, as Sri Venkateswara Group of Schools once again demonstrated that true education transcends classrooms — it celebrates culture, intellect, and humanity in unison.
