A key highlight of the celebration was a mesmerizing performance by the Sri Venkateswara Matriculation students, who showcased their
remarkable exhibit on “The Impact of Science in Flood Management”, This timely and thought-provoking demonstration explored the critical role that science plays in disaster preparedness and management. Students effectively portrayed how advanced technologies can mitigate the effects of floods, saving lives and protecting communities.
One of the key attractions was the flood indicator machine model, conceptualized and created by our students. This innovative model serves as a vital tool for predicting and detecting floods, providing early warnings to ensure timely evacuations and minimizing potential damage. Through an engaging display, our young scientists walked the audience through the intricate workings of this machine, offering a glimpse into how technology can transform flood management system.
