Wonder what little Kavinyasri is upto? Well, she loves nature and given a chance, she loves to experience it with her little hands. It is a wonderful open-ended activity for pre-schoolers that strengthens their gross motor skills, using hands & arms, moving about to collect and paint.
Kavinya would have been a bundle of energy while collecting the leaves. She would have analysed their shapes and forms and arrived at a decision on which leaf to take and which not to. She would have had fun collecting leaves and studying their various sizes, colours and prints. Kids love colouring as it gives them lot of joy and as they play with colours, they also learn the way colours blend with each other. Kavinya would have observed the different tracks the leaves make as they are swished and tapped on the paper.
It is a fun learning activity taking the little ones closer to nature.
