Van Mahotsava Week

Van Mahotsava means “Tree Festival”. This tree planting festival is observed annually, over a period of week starting from 1st July to 7th July. Van Mahotsava was started in 1950 by K.M. Munshi, the then Union Minster for Agriculture and Food to create enthusiasm among masses for forest conservation and planting trees.
So we Sri Venkateswara Matric. Hr. Sec. School Thought leaders and Thought thinkers encouraged and motivated the students to plant more saplings near their locality through conducting Virtual Assembly and also in thinking classrooms.
