The 19th Thiru. A. Venkatasamy Memorial Inter-School Volleyball Tournament, organized by Sri Venkateswara Matriculation Higher Secondary School, was held on dec 7th with great enthusiasm and competitive spirit. This prestigious event is conducted in loving memory of Sri A. Venkatasamy Garu, the father of our esteemed founder, Dr. Smt Uma Kannan.
This year, the tournament witnessed the participation of over 18 schools, showcasing exceptional talent, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Each match was a thrilling display of skill and determination, leaving spectators in awe of the young athletes’ prowess. The final match was especially intense, with the winning team earning the coveted trophy.
The Management and the Chief Guests, Thiru P. Anbu Deputy Commissioner of Avadi commissionerate and Thiru Shankar IPS wholeheartedly appreciated the outstanding efforts of all the participants, their coaches, and the organizing team. The seamless conduction of the tournament was commended by attendees, reflecting the dedication and meticulous planning that went into the event.
